Where is Artificial Intelligence Used Today?

AI decision-making is known as the process of data, like determining trends and suggesting courses of action. It is completed by an AI platform instead of a human in order to make more accurate predictions and decisions. According to McKinsey, by 2030, half of all large organizations will have a full range of AI technology integrated into their processes, and over 70% of businesses will utilize at least one sort of AI technology.

Using AI to promote safer streets

It is hoped that artificial intelligence (AI) will reduce the number of road traffic accidents (RTAs), which claim about 1.35 million lives every year. Besides, Spanish scientists have applied the technology to identify common patterns in RTAs. These could help guide urban planners in their work to reduce collisions and make the world's streets safer.

Using AI in the healthcare industry

In the healthcare industry, technology applications promote healthier behavior in individuals and support the proactive management of healthy lifestyles.

Additionally, AI is already being used to detect diseases like cancer more accurately and in their earlier stages. The American Cancer Society claims that a large percentage of mammograms provide misleading results, telling one in two healthy women they have cancer. Mammogram reviews and translations are now 30 times faster with 99% accuracy thanks to AI, which also lessens the need for pointless biopsies.

Using AI in the manufacturing industry

2021 is the milestone that marks AI's application for industries like supply chain, manufacturing, metaverse, and logistic networks to support real-time. According to the BCG report, AI can offer the most value in planning and the most important AI use cases in the manufacturing industry are:

  • Self-optimizing intelligent machines that automate production procedures

  • Forecasting efficiency losses for more effective planning

  • Detecting quality flaws to aid in predictive maintenance
